This past summer we were in the process of helping my husband’s folks move to town and sell their country home and acreage. We felt that Whitetail Properties would have the advantage of having a wider range of potential buyers, so we decided to give them a call and see what they had to say. Colin Colley is the agent that represents our area so we contacted him. We didn’t know exactly how that would work out as Colin is about 3 hours from where our property was, but that was not a problem at all. He came up promptly to look the property over so he could give us an estimate of what he figured the value to be with no pressure of us having to list the property with them. Even though it was hotter than blue blazes, he took the time to trek down through the woods and check out the whole property so that he could get a true assessment of it’s worth. He was quick to get back to us the value of the property and reviewed with us how he did that. We made the decision to list the property with him, and are happy that we did. Even though he was so far away, that was never a disadvantage. He did a wonderful job of listing our property to it’s best advantage with pictures from cameras that he set up to capture the wildlife. He drove the miles and was at the property whenever he was needed to show it, and he was always available to talk to. He was friendly, positive, and full of energy to do whatever he needed to do to get the property sold. This was not an easy or typical listing for Colin to work with, but that didn't stop him! I was impressed with his diligence, positiveness, can do attitude, professionalism and willingness to make a 4 hour round trip on several occasions to show our property. His willingness to wait for the right buyer resulted in the perfect family buying our old home place to turn it into a hunting lodge. The buyer owns a guided hunt service and right before the closing asked if he could name the lodge "Diamond Lodge" after our family name. That might seem like small potatoes to some but for our family it made the transition a whole lot easier. It would be my pleasure to share my experience with any future customers.

We have owned hunting property in Northeast Kansas for just over 3 years now, and we absolutely love it. However, we always kept an eye out for something closer to my parents' farm in North Central Kansas. I checked your website on a daily basis for months, maybe closer to a year. One day a unique property popped up only a half mile from my parents' farm. It just felt right, so I contacted Colin and expressed my interest. I let him know the time wasn't quite right, but I just had a feeling about this property. I asked Colin to keep an eye on it, and any others that might come available in the area, and he did. We stayed in contact for close to a year. We talked a lot. He met us for a walk through early on, and then arranged a solo walk through for me months later. Colin was always available when I needed an update, or sometimes just to shoot the breeze. I consider Colin a friend. Other properties popped up, but we just kept coming back to this one every time. Well, the stars finally aligned and amazingly, the property was still available. Maybe it was destiny. Colin connected me with a local farmer which was instrumental in making the final deal. Once we pulled the trigger, Colin made the process so easy. There was never any pressure. Colin was very professional, knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and a good listener. It doesn't take long to realize how passionate he is about what he does. It was a no brainer when we decided to sell the Northeast Kansas property. Colin was our guy.
