Jason Christensen

Born & bred Husker Red and raised in Western Nebraska at the end of the Texas Cattle Trail; Ogallala, NE, Lake McConaughy, and at the Gateway to the Nebraska Sandhills! His love for agriculture started at a young age as his grandfather & uncle farmed and raised cattle in SE South Dakota. His passion for the ranching industry came to fruition after high school working for Craig & Waldo Haythorn at Haythorn Land & Cattle Co. And continues 30+ years later as he & his wife Kari own Crusty’s Feed Store in Arthur, NE.

Having a passion for the Outdoors started at a very young age and continues to this day. He loves to spend time outdoors with his family & friends chasing mule deer, whitetails, antelope, elk, waterfowl, pheasant, etc. Outfitting for 15+ years and sharing this passion with those around the country instilled in him how much he loves the Sandhills of Nebraska by seeing it through someone else’s eyes! Also, he is a volunteer Firefighter & Asst. Football coach for Arthur County.

Kari and Jason have five grown children who have blessed them with families of their own, including seven grandchildren and counting! They are very blessed, as Faith, Family, and friendships are very important to them.

They look forward to showing you the beauty of the Nebraska Sandhills & Western Nebraska.
