John Michael Pillow is a native of the Mississippi Delta, growing up on a 3,000-acre row crop farm in Yazoo County. He developed a love for the land at an early age and began farming with his father after graduating from Ole Miss. After the loss of his father at a young age, John Michael solely took over the family farm and nurtured the land for over 30 years, growing cotton, corn, soybeans, and peanuts, expanding his crops to cover over 6,000 acres throughout his successful farming career.

Early in his career, he met his loving wife, Sara Beth, and together they have raised three children over their 30-year marriage. They have two grown daughters and a son. All of their children have a deep love and appreciation for the land that has grounded them to their family roots. John Michael’s fondest memories are of making them with his own children, farming and hunting the land he grew up loving.

John Michael is a lifetime avid deer and duck hunter. His passions include spending time in the blind with his children and cheering on his son in the football stands with his wife. John Michael brings to Whitetail Properties a deep love for family and land, and a respect for the game he chases. As a lifelong farmer and hunter, his deep-rooted love for the land shapes everything he does.
