About Josh Freeland

Josh was born and raised in the Panhandle of North Florida. He has had a strong passion for hunting, fishing, and the outdoors from a very young age. After high school, he joined the US Coast Guard and spent over six years in the reserves. He attended Florida State University where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Geography and went on to earn a graduate certificate in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). He also earned a graduate certificate in Ecological Restoration from the University of Florida. He spent a few years working in the field of GIS for the Florida Department of Transportation and Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise. Prior to joining Whitetail Properties, Josh worked for almost five years with Goldman Sachs in Salt Lake City, UT.

After moving around the country and living in Florida, Utah, and Maryland, Josh and his wife Rebecca moved to Lexington, Kentucky to settle down and raise their son. Josh and his family enjoy the Kentucky lifestyle and look forward to their future here in the Bluegrass State.

Josh’s passion for hunting, conservation, and the outdoors are what led him to seek a career with Whitetail Properties. He enjoys working with clients to help them find a place of their own that they’ll love and enjoy. Please don’t hesitate to give him a call so he can assist you in finding or listing your property.
