This gorgeous farm is located in the Heart of the Bourbon Trail. When I entered this farm for the first time, I unloaded the Ranger and rode past the first pond with the thoughts of “great looking fishing hole”. Beyond the pond I came to a tree stand location. Looked around and quickly understood it’s placement in the funnel area with the creek below. Drove past the second pond and it was loaded with ducks. Enjoyed the scene a little too long and the ducks exploded off the pond and flew overhead. Beautiful! Continued deeper into the farm, and WOW, it opened up to 100 acres of beautiful rolling pasture ground with a barn that I could see in the distance. The more I saw the more I wanted to continue exploring and this farm just kept getting better. The barn has an equipment shed on the left side, enclosed barn area in the middle with a quaint living area on the right side complete with a small wood stove to sit around and relive the days hunt by in the evening. The most southern portion of the farm contains beautiful mature woods with many open areas interspersed throughout for food plots and great stand locations. There are almost too many great looking stand locations to choose from. What a problem to have! On my way back I drove past the cell tower that provides monthly income to the owner. When I got back to the barn, I had that same awesome view from what could be a spectacular home site overlooking the farm and the largest of the 5 stocked ponds on the farm.
