This property has a great hunting shack! It can also double as storage for extra gear and ATV’s etc when you go home for the week. The shack is wired for a generator and also for DC if you decide to just run off of battery power. There’s also an old camper that works great for storage. From the shack, you can go in a couple of different directions on the maintained trails. One leads through a timbered area near the shack. The other goes out along the edge of a timbered area mixed with a grassy brushland type mix. After you get across this grassy/brush mix on the main trail you enter the timber along the south side of the property. This is mostly mature aspen but also has some maple, spruce, fir, ash, etc. A beautiful mix of timber and trails along the southern portion. There are also several stands to the south. I saw three when checking the place out. One was covering the powerline opening. There was also another one close to the center of the timbered area. The third I noticed was covering a lower grassy meadow. I saw deer sign by all of them. In fact, I saw an older large buck rub only 80 yards or so from the stand looking over the lower grassy meadow near the SE part of the property. I also saw some turkey sign as well when out checking the place out. This property would be great for deer, bear, and grouse! Already has a place built to stay at when up, stands built, trails mowed and ready. Also along the east border is county tax forfeit lands and other public lands very near this property you could spread out on and hunt deer, bear, and grouse as well.
