Beneficial rooted aquatic plants such as Pencil Reeds, Pondweed, Coontail, and Cattails provide habitat for fish. Similar to Enemy Swim Lake, Campbell has several points, bars, and varied bottom topography enhancing structures in the lake. There are no public boat launches on Campbell, so traffic on the lake is minimal and mostly restricted to property owner use. Beaver adds structure by felling trees along the largely undeveloped lakeshore, which provides excellent territories for bass to hide out.
