The hard lake bottom is composed mainly of sand and gravel. The water is clear, and noxious algae blooms are uncommon. A good variety of beneficial native aquatic plants, including coontail, pondweed, and pencil reeds, line the shoreline and underwater humps, providing cover for fish and invertebrates and supporting the productive fishery. The maximum lake depth is approximately 26 feet.
Most of the shoreline is undeveloped, giving the lake its natural appeal and solitude. The western shore is state-owned land (Mydland Pass Game Production Area) and federally-owned land (Lynn Lake Waterfowl Production Area). These two public areas comprise over 1,800 acres of additional land to hunt, fish, and enjoy, just across the water from the property.
This lot is approximately 7.12 total acres with an approximately 2-acre building site. The lot's width is approximately 336 feet and is relatively level from the road toward the water, making it easy to walk out your door to the lakeshore. This lot is very private at the east end of the road.
