The natural habitat in this area is phenomenal, and the high mineral content in the Lake Superior red clay plain supports tremendous antler growth on Whitetail Bucks, and holds some of the largest scoring skulls in the State for Black bear, because simply there’s no one else back there hunting them. The 2.3 mile access road is easily traversed by truck or ATV and a short drive from the Village of Gurney. Lake Superior and Saxon Harbor are within minutes.
