This property would make a nice vacation or hunting property. This 160-acre tract should be eligible for landowner hunting tags pending an animal review from the game and fish department. A deeded easement across the private land and a special access permit from the BLM is required to give insurable access to the property. The special access permit is $18 a year and will be transferred to the new buyer. There is also a deeded easement should you want to run power to the property. Wells in the area are around $18,000 installed with a pump and would only need power should you choose to drill one. A seasonal creek on the north side of the property that dries up towards the end of summer. This property is in Unit 111 for Elk, Unit 62 for Antelope, and Unit 87 for Mule Deer.

Landowner hunting tags:

The review from the Game and Fish requires 2,000 days of animals on the property for the year. This means there would have to be 5.5 animals on the property for 365 days or 11 animals for half the year to qualify for landowner tags. You are not limited to these 160 acres for hunting and would be able to hunt the whole unit (62). As for Elk and Deer, since they are general units, the Game and Fish doesn't issue landowner tags as they are not draw units unless you are a non-resident. The property can't be purchased only for the landowner hunting tags. The property has to be used for something other than just the gain of the tags.
