Six food plots are scattered out on the west side and there are tremendous oaks all across the ridge and valley. You can drive to most of the food plots with a pickup truck and there is a good UTV trail system. Stand sites have been established for years and the owner has primarily bow hunted here for decades. Many pinch points are naturally created by the ridge and rock outcroppings. There are patches of cedar thickets that are torn up with rubs. Turkey scratching is also all throughout the timber, this area of the county is known to have very good deer and turkey populations. The main creek is a must see! Rarely have I seen such an intriguing waterway, it twists, turns and falls it’s way over the rocks and boulders as it runs more than 4500’ from north to south through the middle of the property. There are small waterfalls along the way as well as an area where over thousands of years the water has eroded into a cliff and washed out small caves into the limestone. Walking down in this valley takes you back to a time of pristine wilderness. God created a true gem the way he used the water to carve out the gorge and how he placed the trees on the edge, it takes you back decades and sure has a relaxing feel. Located just a short drive from Lake Guntersville, Huntsville and Scottsboro this tract is very convenient to many other attractions.
