Large Ag fields to the east and a large tract of wooded ground to the west put this property in the crosshairs of some very good deer hunting. This property is a mix of high and low ground that is easy to navigate via the existing trails. The eastern edge of the property has some rolling topography mixed in and a small pond as it opens up to the neighboring fields. There is a large secluded food plot that is over three acres in the northeast corner of the property that gets hit hard by the local deer herd. The property narrows aggressively to the south and the phragmites currently provide a significant bedding area there while providing a natural funnel for deer coming back and forth from the multiple food sources. The timber is a mix between red maple, green ash, white cedar, swamp hardwoods, and some aspen that are regenerating as planned from a previous cut. Turkeys are also abundant on this parcel. The property is enrolled in the MFL closed program and I’d be glad to explain those details and share the forestry plan. There is an area of higher ground on the northwest corner of the property that could be explored for the possibility of a home or cabin. Electric is at the road in that location and currently serves an adjacent home. There are currently two parking areas conveniently located off the road depending on what area of the property you plan to hunt based on the wind. Please call Dave Schutt for your private showing.
