My experience with Whitetail Properties was a good one. I was looking for a certain property and I contacted mark Williams who was able to locate two properties. He was a top notch agent and got me a good deal. He is also helpingme with food plots. I hope to be friends with Mark for many years. I recently purchased a piece of hunting property through Whitetail Properties. This was my first land purchase and it could not have gone smoother thanks to my agent Aaron Milliken.  From our first meeting Aaron was extremely helpful. He walked us through the property and was very knowledgable about the property and the surrounding area. He provided me with great advice as to how the property could be managed and manicured so that I could get the most out of the property. In addition to his help with the property, Aaron also was extremely helpful in the process of finding financing. He put me in contact with several banks and always had options lined up for me to try if one didn't work out. Aaron was always available whenever I had questions or concerns. Whether it was via email or text, no matter how big or small the question Aaron always instantly answered back and was very personable with his answers.  Aaron went above and beyond his responsibilities and made me feel like I was his only client, not just one of many.  After my experience I would absolutely recommend Aaron to anyone looking for a piece of property and feel that my family and I have not only found a great land agent but also a friend.  I plan on acquiring more land in the future and will definitely be using Aaron to do so.

The sale was challenging to say the least. That being said, my agent, Brad, worked hard to close the deal and represented Whitetail Properties with class and dignity every step of the way. I've had the pleasure of working with a handful of real estate agents in my life, both in New York and now in West Virginia. None of them compares in any meaningful way to what I saw from Bryan Thompson while working together to purchase a property. At every opportunity, Bryan set himself apart, starting from the very first time we met at the property, taking multiple hours to hike around the grounds, showing his abundant knowledge of the flora and fauna in the process. Bryan immediately impressed me not just by his knowledge and commitment to the sale but also by his scrupulous honesty and forthright nature. When asked uncomfortable questions, for example, about the state of the roof or the age of the deck, Bryan gave honest, ultimately prescient answers, preparing me accurately for the work that needed to be done (we're currently putting on a new roof and rebuilding the rear deck). Bryan also recommended a truly thorough and seemingly honest inspector (Richard Mines) who did an excellent and comprehensive job finding potential issues with the property.

During this inspection period, Bryan also revealed just how able and willing he was to go above and beyond the call of duty, personally inspecting the deed and septic plans at the town hall in Marlinton and then driving multiple hours to be on site for the septic dig up at 7 am in Green Bank. Bryan was consistently available for communications, quick to respond when unavailable, and punctual at all times. At every opportunity, Bryan showed himself to be a man of his word, someone who followed through on his commitments and could be trusted to do the right thing. It was a genuine pleasure getting to know Bryan and have him work on our behalf. From my experience, Bryan showed himself as a rare kind of agent, both extremely knowledgeable and skilled and genuinely trustworthy.

I feel extremely lucky to have found Bryan to represent us during this purchase, and I plan to enlist his services for any future deals in the area. Bryan proved himself to be invaluable time and time again, and I sincerely hope to get the chance to work with him again in the future.

Our experience was great! A key factor in going through what can be a long process of finding the right piece of land and closing on it is good communication. Trey seemed to always be available to us - whenever we texted, emailed, or called...he was quick to respond. If he didn't have an answer, he would get one. Trey really listened to us, our desires, our concerns, our questions. We looked at several properties before the right one came along. Trey tuned in to what we wanted and showed great patience. He was always on time when we went out to look at a piece of land - we were never left wondering where he was. During the closing process, he was very involved in making sure all of our concerns were addressed, from the paperwork, to getting something removed from the property that the seller had failed to do...he is hands-on! And in the process of all of this, he is kind and polite. He made our experience so much more positive than it could have been. Quite simply...Trey cared. We highly recommend Trey!! Five Stars!!!
