Under the circumstances of me living in Pheonix and the property being sold is in Illinois, Kirk made this very easy. I also appreciated that Kirk went above and beyond helping my brother who is a co-owner get thru the process and even giving him a ride to the closing. I have always had the desire to purchase property with the expectations of someday retiring in Jackson County. Now that we have closed on the 40 acres, I can begin to plan my next steps to making Jackson County my future retirement home. I received a postcard in the mail from Whitetail Properties offering to list our property for sale. It was about time to relist with the current real estate agent but I thought maybe this was a sign. I called the number on the card and spoke with Todd Mensing. I asked why should I sign with you when I have had it for sale for two years without anyone being interested. Todd said because I sell property and the other agent sells houses. I signed with Todd in early September and the property (200 acres of hunting land) was sold within three weeks. Todd came out and looked at the property.  The many pictures were representative of the property and made it easy to see the terrain. I was very impressed with the suggestions from Todd during negotiations with the buyers.
