I worked with Jason Schendt of Whitetail Properties this summer of 2012 on a land purchase in Knox County Nebraska. When I started the purchase there was poor access to the property. Jason worked very hard on negotiating a good access point. He worked very hard on getting it surveyed properly and boundaries fenced properly. I have purchased quite a few properties as I am not young anymore. Jason did a very nice job on getting the job done. We had no disagreements with the seller and all went well. Whitetail Properties and Jason did a very nice job for me. I am writing this, which I do not due very often, because I was very pleased working with Jason and Whitetail Properties. The hunting land/quiet time land will be greatly enjoyed by my wife, my 3 children and spouses  and grandchildren. Again I am just pleased having been able to purchase this land and to have worked with Jason Schendt of Whitetail Properties.

My wife and I bought a farm last fall from Gabe Adair of Whitetail Properties. We found Gabe to be a very straight forward, honest person, who handles himself with a very high level of integrity.  Not once did we feel like Gabe was trying to sell us something, instead we felt like he took the time to listen and helped us to buy a farm that best fit our desires. Four months after the sale and I still call Gabe to ask for his advice concerning my farm, and I can honestly say that he is always willing to help me. I would encourage anyone that is interested in buying or selling a farm to give Gabe a call. If you have a 10 minute conversation with him I am confident you will have the same high opinion of Gabe that we do.  At Whitetail Properties, they refer to themselves as “land specialist”, maybe a more accurate reference would be “land consultants.”   

We used Zane and Zed to both find and sell a terrific Kansas deer property. Timing may be everything but they offered a written offer within 4 hours of our first conversation about selling. Can't say if they did a better job on finding the property initially or the quick sale. Out of gratitude for the business, they gave me the safety harness that saved my life this past year. They are good folks and willing to help after the purchase. Set up game cameras, ordered feeders, etc. Can't say enough!

We would like to extend our appreciation for how our property search was handled by Boyce Flenner. During our two year search for the ideal piece of property, we had a variety of experiences with a variety of real estate agents. However, it wasn’t until we met Boyce that we had a true buyer/real estate agent experience. Boyce was not only willing to show us the property, he was actually knowledgeable of the land and surrounding community. He was able to answer all of our questions, even if it meant that he had to put in some extra time. He was also there through the whole process. We love the land and our experience with Boyce and Whitetail Properties Real Estate. Since our purchase, we have found that Boyce was not only an excellent real estate agent but a good neighbor.

I would like to recommend Jason Cleveland by simply telling you what happened in my case.

After my husband died, I was left with 60 acres of land that we had not seen for over 30 years. I lived over 3 hours away. At the recommendation of my lawyer, I contacted a real estate agent from a town near the property. This realtor said that he drove to the property one Sunday afternoon to look at it. He said that the land had only seen hunters and hoot owls for a long time and that there was no road accessing the property. (Later I found out he had stood at the edge of the property and evaluated it.) He recommended a price I felt was much too low and in a conversation he referred to it as “junk property”.

In the meantime, I found a postcard on my husband’s desk from Whitetail Properties Realty and called Jason. The same day I met the first realtor in his office, I met Jason at the property. He jumped out of his truck and put on his boots and was quickly in the woods. He looked it over and came back with the news that there were several hunting stands, deer rubbings, turkeys and quail and that it was good hunting property. He suggested asking a much higher price than the first gentleman. I was impressed with the fact that he saw the land in a positive light; he actually checked it out and was energetic. Of course I hired him.

Jason found out who had been hunting there and contacted the people and also the conservation agent. He worked with the title company, and we worked on trying to get a road into the property. I found it impressive that he was doing a lot of work to sell it for me.

When one party backed out, he had another that was interested. It took him only 4 months to sell it “as is” and we settled on a very good price. Jason kept in touch with me during this time and even arranged for the final signing of the deed so that I would not have to drive to the title company.

I would recommend Jason Cleveland as a man of integrity. He is hard working and seems to enjoy his job and his clients.

We are so pleased that you were able to sell our church camp property that was severely damaged in May of 2009.  Even with the large trees down and logged and most of the buildings damaged, you helped us determine what direction we needed to go.  You helped us identify what buildings should be demolished and how to get the place cleaned up such that it could be shown, with minimum work.
You saw great potential in what we thought was a disaster.  Sure enough, in relatively little time, you had many interested buyers.  Even with the delays of surveys and title work, loan officers and minute details that were bothersome, you hung in there for us.
What a joy is was to work with you through this process.  You had the uncanny ability to know just how to proceed.  And how fun it has been to get to know you on a personal level.  Certainly we would recommend you to any who might inquire.
